Primary / Secondary

Main stage Support rail Homepage hero pattern

This pattern does not explain itself section by section. It keeps a long-lived structure with primary content on the left and a supporting rail on the right. It works for homepages, topic pages, and market overviews.

Primary Stage

The left main stage carries the biggest headline, lead summary, and key chart.

User attention lands here first. It can hold the day's lead, a topic summary, a primary price chart, or a top-story digest.

Main Column

Body copy, secondary modules, and detail cards stay in the main column.

Keep the denser information on the left. Do not move key content into the side rail.

Main Column

Parallel modules still follow the same primary axis.

A two-column block is fine, but both columns still belong to the main stage.

Continuation

As the page scrolls, the primary-secondary relationship stays the same.

That is the core difference from Rail Flow. In Rail Flow the section sequence leads; in Primary / Secondary the main stage and side rail lead.
